Christmas in January

Would you believe, I have finally, at last, in the end, done it! Packed, wrapped, taped, labeled the first 3 packages filled with silly little useless Christmas presents for my family (the big one!), for sis Edith... and my friend Cloclo... Yes, I do still have at least 2 more to do, but hey! look at that pile. I'm very pleased with myself. Alright, I admit, I am a procrastinator but we are still in January, are we not? So there.

Expensive Therapy

Went for treasure hunting therapy at my neighborhood thrift store. Got a great crop! An absolutely perfect pair of jeans (I haven't owned a pair of jeans in at least a decade!) and a gorgeous sea-green lambswool scarf - put the 2 together and I'm gorgeous!!! Also got "The Nightmare before Christmas" movie, special edition, a wool coverlet stolen at some point from an air plane in a beautiful shade of blue, an antique blue-trimmed jug, a retro red tank top, a stoneware jar that says "secret ingredient"... Oh! the things you find!!!... well, here's a picture!

I do those on my paper note pad as I work and then cut them out and do collage with them. This one I like and I see a painting there. I will probably give it a try... And... Oh! ...Bonne Année everyone!
