Working on the green doll

And... In that button pile was a perfect button! ...She is close to being finished!!! but for the feet I have to wait for a resemblance of spring, to go in High Park find a little branch to carve into a couple booties. arh! I'm not showing her yet, but ...she's a cuttie!

New treasures

I swear.... I did not go there just to spend my hard earned loonies. I was looking for vintage blue buttons for my green doll. I went first to the thrift store far away at woodbine station because I always find great stuff there, but when I got there, there were none of these bags full of vintage buttons they have some time and the clothes were very unorganized, so I couldn't check for buttons easily. So I had to go to the other thrift store because I knew they had all the clothes there organized by colour and type... but though I went through countless blue suits, coats, shirts and all, could't find exactly what I wanted. However.. I did drag these home... yeah. Well I'm working on it and I would appreciate if you didn't give me a hard time about it. Thank you.

Art for Work - Work for Art

I did this little drawing for family day at work. Sadly, the only painting in a long time, and I had to get it done in just a few hours on the week-end, so not a master piece, but it got the paint brushes wet and moving. C'est deja ca!

Newsletter - sortakinda

Anyway, that was the idea originally: I was going to publish this little zine all by myself, sell it, become rich ; and famous of course... It then went into an envelope and got slowly buried with weeks first ; then months ; of papers, news clippings, and things-that-don't-really-have-a-name that find their sad little way somehow to my work table.
